Judging Criteria

Participating teams will be judge by the following:

DEVELOPMENT (20%)
- Storyboard 10%-> How much details of the storyboard added including thinking process, choice of camera angle, description of scene, etc.
- Synopsis 10% -> Summary of the story with the following criteria to judge: Quality of story, relevancy to the theme "illuminate".
FINAL EXECUTION (70%)
- Audio 10% -> Synchronization between animation & audio. (Including dialogue, narrator, sound effects, background music, etc)
- Animation Skill 40% -> The use of animation techniques to convey the idea. (Including color sense, motion, character design & background, etc)
- Story Relevance 20% -> The animation must convey a clear message to the audience based on your synopsis.

Storyboard & Synopsis
Kindly submit "Storyboard" and Sypnosis to aimilluminate@attributes.com.sg in Word Document by February 14th-15th; indicating the in the email subject, "(Team name) - Storyboard".

Storyboard refers to the story plot of the animation film. A good animation film comprises not only of graphics, but also a good story plot. How many of us have ever watched a film or animation thinking that it is a great film, only to be disappointed by the story plot? Hence, a good animation movie rests also on a good story. Participating teams will be judge based on how well the story is being delivered to the audience.
